This is how to seal wood with epoxy resin:

Step 1: Preparing the wood
Before you start sealing, make sure the wood is thoroughly sanded and free of dust and dirt to ensure a smooth surface.

Step 2: Applying your epoxy resin
Mix the resin and hardener according to the enclosed instructions to ensure an even consistency. Apply the mixed epoxy resin evenly to the wood surface and work quickly to achieve an even layer. Silicone brushes from the baking sector (easily reusable) or brushes without "hair loss" (NoLoss brushes) are suitable for this. Brushes and/or rollers made of foam are not suitable. These dissolve on contact with epoxy resin and can possibly jeopardize a successful coating.

Step 3: Smoothing and removing bubbles
To achieve a smooth, bubble-free surface, use suitable tools. Alcohol-based cleaners such as isopropanol or a stick lighter are well suited for this.

Step 4: Curing and drying
Allow the applied epoxy resin to dry and harden thoroughly to achieve a robust and long-lasting seal. Depending on the temperature, this can take a few hours (~20°C) to 1-2 days (<15°C). You can then reapply if desired.
